 SATELLITE HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM SPRING 2015 
Feb 5–May 21, 2015 | Weekly on Thursdays, 4:30–7 PM
(14 total sessions; no session Spring Break)
What does it mean for a museum to be an icon of the city? In this
program, you’ll join a group of teens passionate about art to make
an impact on the Museum and our community. We’ll discover works
of art in-depth and connect them to our lives today, including exploring
fashion and art in the Museum’s exhibition Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of
Ebony Fashion Fair. We’ll go behind the scenes and meet Museum
staff to learn about arts careers and develop your own resume. You’ll
share your passion for art with elementary school students. For your
final project, you'll create a video project about what you've learned
using iPads, sharing it at an opening celebration.
 FREE internship program
 Sessions take place at the Milwaukee Art
Museum once a week on Thursdays
 Free dinner and bus tickets or parking
passes are provided for accepted students
 Each student will use an iPad while at the
Museum for activities and projects
 You should be interested in the arts, but you
do not need to be an artist to apply
 APPLICATIONS ARE DUE ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 16, 2015 

All students will be notified of application status in the mail before Feb 5

 Be between the ages of 16–18 years old
 Get a letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor
 Be in grade 11 or 12 for the 2014-15 school year
