Required Equipment (not in this box)
o Windows PC with an Ethernet Port
o RJ45 network cable and PoE switch

Default network settings
o IP address: 192.168.0.10
o Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0


Configuration & Setup
Unlock the latches to open housing
Attached the sunshield using the
provided hardware
Connect the network cable from the
PoE Switch to the ETH port on the back of the Pegasus-T unit
Confirm the camera and the processing unit are powered ON
Configure the PC’s local network settings according to the default
network settings specified herein and confirm you can ping the
Viper unit
Install the CDF-Lite software (Provided in the CD)
Consult the CDF-Lite Quick Reference Guide to complete the
software configuration process
Consult the Viper ALPR Camera
Aiming Guide for best deployment
Note: Adjustment of the Varifocal lens is
necessary to achieve optimal performance

Getting Started
Remove all items from the box and confirm that all parts are included.
If anything is missing or broken, please inform your Mango DSP Sales
Representative immediately.
Save all packaging to use for shipping or transporting the unit in the
future.
