website. The Filled-in tender shall be accompanied with EMD of Rs.
50,000/- favouring MANUU payable at Hyderabad.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.
The sealed tenders are invited for supply and installation of Delta / APC / Libert /
Consul / Keltron or any other make UPS of various capacities along with Exide make
batteries and battery stand at University under one bid system [consists of all technical
details along with commercial terms and conditions, filled in Annexure–II, relevant
documents EMD amount & DD of Rs. 5,000/- (if downloaded tender form is used) in
one sealed envelope duly super scribed. ‘Tender Document for UPS alongwith
Batteries”

The UPS along with batteries of various capacities required specifications are placed
in Annexure-1.

The bids should be submitted to the Purchase Section, Maulana Azad National Urdu
University, Gachibowli, Hyderabad–500032 by 03.00 noon on 28th May 2015.
Tenders received after due date and time will not be considered by the University.
The bids will be opened on the same day at 04.00 p.m. in presence of vendors or their
authorized representatives. The representatives should bring an authorization letter
from their vendor for attending the tender opening.

The Bid should be accompanied with an amount of Rs. 50,000/- towards Earned
Money Deposit (EMD) favouring Maulana Azad National Urdu University, payable
at Hyderabad. The EMD of unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The EMD of the
successful bidder will be converted into a Security Deposit. The security deposit will
be returned after submission of bank guarantee to an amount equal to 10% of the
transaction value till completion of warranty period.

Bids for each UPS along with batteries & stand and for additional batteries for
available UPS may be considered independently. Vendors may quote for one or more
or all UPS and should agree to accept the part supply order on the criteria of the
lowest bid.
6.
The amount quoted should include all taxes, installation, transportation and all other
charges duly indicating all the components separately.
7.
Unit prices are to be quoted both in figures and words. In case of a discrepancy, the
amount quoted in words or forgives whichever is less will be taken as valid.
8.
The bidder may be ISO / Government organization / authorized dealer / reputed firm
(will be decided by the University as per specification and quality). The product to be
supplied should be of BIS certified.
9.
A list of organizations / agencies to which equipment has been supplied by the firm /
supplier may be furnished along with copies of supply order, along with the technical
bid.
10.
The bidder shall quote the specifications as per the Annexure–II and to furnish
complete technical specification, make and model of the UPS and batteries.
11.
The firm has to quote separately for all the make of the UPS and batteries, with the
buyback offer amount. The firm has to accept the old and unserviceable batteries
under buyback offer.
12.
The UPS and SMF Exide batteries should cover warranty for a minimum period of
three years of free replacement with new piece UPS or new battery.

13.
The commencement of working period shall be from the date of certificate of good
working condition by the user section / department of the University. The firm should
deliver the products at places specified by the University under the supervision of user
section / department of the University. The delivery will be accepted by the University
only after successful installation by the firm and good working condition certified by
the user section / department of the University.
14.
90% payment will be released on supply and installation of the equipment and duly
accepted and agreed by the University. The balance 10% will be released after
submission of bank guarantee equal to the 10% of the total purchase order value and
certification of good working condition as indicate foregoing hours. The performance
guarantee of 10% will be released after completion of warranty period.
15.
The quantity of UPS / batteries included in the tender can be increased or decreased at
the discretion of the University.
16.
The supply of the equipment has to be made within a period of three weeks from the date
of issue of Purchase Order. In case, the firm fails to supply the UPS along with batteries
in the scheduled time, 0.5% cost of the whole supply for every week against late supply
will be deducted automatically from the bill to the maximum of 5% after which the order
will remain cancelled and Bid Security/Earnest Money Deposited will stand forfeited.
17.
Items offered in the tender may be re-ordered at the same rate, terms & conditions
within a period of twelve months/one year from the closing of this tender.
18.
The firm should have office/workshop / agency in Hyderabad to provide after sale
service.
19.
All pages of the tender document are to be signed and stamped by the tendering firm
and to be attached along with the bids.
20.
The University reserves the right to reject or accept any tender without assigning any
reason or cancel or withdraw the tender notice.
21.
In case of any dispute, Hyderabad will be the Jurisdiction and the Registrar, Maulana
Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad shall decide the issue and his / her
decision will be final and shall be binding on both the parties.
