For non privately insured patients allow up to $805 for the hospital bed fee, $380 for embryo transfer and $250 for the anaesthetist. Fees correct as at 1st July 2011. Melbourne IVF’s “no upfront fees” payment option allows payment to occur up to 4 weeks after treatment has commenced to make IVF treatment more financially manageable for patients. This means that Medicare rebates can be claimed within 3 to 5 working days of payment being made, reducing the amount of time patients are out of pocket for treatment.
