Marin County Office of Education, Marin Community Foundation and College of Marin, are proud to
welcome Dr. Douglas Clements to present at our Spring Early Learning Summit
Dr. Clements was the lead researcher for the Mathematics in California Preschool Learning Foundations.
A member of the National Research Council’s Committee on Early Mathematics, Dr. Clements co-authored
the report, Mathematics in Early Childhood: Learning Paths Toward Excellence and Equity.
Dr. Clements also participated in writing the Common Core State Standards – and was recently interviewed on National
Public Radio about the significance of Early Math skills on school success

units are not required to pay the $23.00 conference registration fee, although those individuals are expected to also register for the conference with
