Easter River Cruise @ 5:00pm - 8:00pm A special Easter cruise,
A lovely way to spend time with friends and family or visitors here
for the Classic Fighters Omaka airshow. Come on board a little
early and relax with a glass of wine before we untie the mooring
ropes. We’ll cruise the Opawa River, peeping into homes, gardens,
farms and vineyards all in the comfort of our large riverboat.
Ticket includes a delicious two course buffet meal plus hot cross
buns and a marshmallow egg for the children. Tickets can be
purchased on the Marlborough River Queen each day 10am

Classic Fighters – Omaka 2015 Classic Fighters places heritage
aviation on display in an action-packed weekend, amid the
magnificent scenery of Marlborough during wine harvest time.
Held over the three-day Easter weekend - Friday is an official
Practice Day, which includes the Marlborough Lines Twilight
Extreme of sunset flying, concert and spectacular fireworks.
Saturday and Sunday are the main show days with over 100
aircraft participating, together with mock airfield attacks supported
by ground theatre and pyrotechnics. There will be something on

characters Ratty, Mole, Badger and of course the Indomitable
Toad. Adventures abound as the four friends fend off the wild
woodlanders and help Toad overcome his obsession with caravans

Marlborough Merino Stud Tour and Ewe Flock Competition
– April 8 @ 7:00am ending - April 10 @ 5:00 pm $50.
Experience some spectacular high country stations and some of
Marlborough’s award winning Merino Sheep in our bi-annual 2nd
Flock Ewe Competition. The Competition and Stud Tour will run
over 2 days, finishing on Friday evening with a formal dinner and
prize giving at WITHER HILLS WINERY RESTURANT – bookings
essential! This is a self driven tour, so your own 4WD transport
is required. Registration includes lunch on both days and your

Marlborough SPCA Open Day - a fun open day on Saturday
from 11.00am – 3.00pm - Come along for a great day and visit

Family Mountain Bike Fun Day @ 11:00am - 3:00pm A fun introduction day for the whole family on an easy to ride
track largely sheltered from the wind and sun by a mature pine
plantation. The day is a collaboration between Go Marlborough,
Sport Tasman, the Marlborough Mountain Bike Club, Kids on
Bikes, the Active Dads Network and Full Cycle Coaching. Bring the
whole family and ride with us, bring a picnic lunch to enjoy while

war, their stories are vividly brought to life with treasured New
Zealand war songs, accompanied by a live brass band.
