Invitation to Lead: Expedition Leader, Marti Expeditions
Marti Expeditions is a new Caribbean start-up social enterprise dedicated to immersive,
transformational travel and learning experiences for young people.
Marti Expeditions provides two-week programmes in varying Caribbean countries, which
began with a pilot programme in Grenada in August 2014. In Grenada, 16 participants from
five countries spent two weeks volunteering with organisations ranging from rural
community groups to turtle conservationists to special needs children. On top of that the
group had the chance to experience the length and breadth of the island. And that was just
the beginning! In 2015 we’re expanding our reach and we are actively building a new
programme in St. Lucia.
We are currently recruiting four Expedition Leaders, two male and two female.
The programme dates are as follows: St. Lucia- 27th July to 10th August, Grenada A- 13th July
to 27th July, Grenada B- 27th July- 9th August.
Air travel costs associated with being an expedition leader will be covered. In addition
leaders will be provided a modest stipend. A series of orientation sessions for trip leaders
will be coordinated two months before the start of the program which you will be required
to attend.
If you are interested in the adventure that is changing young people’s lives and are keen to
do so with a one-of-a-kind organization, please send your CV (included listed references)
and a Cover Letter to [email protected] , based on the attached job
description/person specification below.
Be sure to also visit www.martiexpeditions.com and our blog for more information on the
