3rd Annual Symposium of Women Educational Leaders

The Educational Administration Department at St Cloud State University and Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals
invite you to the Symposium of Women Educational Leaders. This event is about women connecting with other women to develop
themselves both personally and professionally.
Featuring speaker Patty Phillips, Superintendent of the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District.
Women representing all levels of educational leadership will facilitate roundtable discussions that focus on dynamic topics for
successful leadership:
Mentoring, Being Mentored, and Sponsorship;
Negotiation (with individuals and groups);
Issues Affecting You Personally as a Woman Leader;
Health and Wellness;
Creating a Balance;
Leading in a “Men’s World”;
Being our Worst Enemies;
Women Leading Women;
Discipline;
Developing New Leadership Skills.
Who Should Attend?
Women Educational Leaders around the state including but not limited to Superintendents, Principals, Directors, Special
Education Coordinators and Directors, Community Education Directors, and those entering the profession are
encouraged to attend. Registrants are invited to bring one guest who they believe has shown potential for future
educational leadership.

Registration Costs:
The $100.00 registration fee includes a light breakfast and specially catered lunch. The registration fee is
non-refundable. For an additional $25.00, registrants may bring one future leader. The fee for currently enrolled SCSU
Students in Educational Leadership and Administration programs is $25.00 and are encouraged to enroll in EDAD697 for
