Dear Friend of Maury High School:
The Maury Boosters Association invites you to participate in the 10th Annual
Maury Auction to be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at
Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.
Auction proceeds will benefit all of Maury High School, from student classes, clubs
and teams to academic and athletic departments to staff appreciation. Each year, we
provide funds that directly impact learning, by providing equipment, supplies and
programs not funded by city, state or federal sources.
We are pleased to report that last year’s auction proceeds were over $38,000. The
event attracted many guests and there is already great enthusiasm for this year’s
auction. We hope you can make a tax deductible donation of an item, gift certificate
or other commodity that will help us raise even more than last year. In addition to the
satisfaction of supporting Maury High School, you will receive recognition at the
auction and on the Maury Boosters Association website.
Funds raised by the Maury Boosters Association last year provided:
 Support for all 12 academic and athletic departments in Maury High School, which
allowed discretionary spending within each department.
 Support for 43 Maury classes, clubs and teams to be used at their discretion.
 Funds for Maury Boosters Association grants that paid for items such as academic
enhancements, equipment and staff appreciation events.
The goal of the Maury Boosters Association is “Improving Life at Maury High
School.” We appreciate your support in this endeavor. To learn more about the
