SCHWELLHEIM: SRF BEST TALENT AND RANKING
IN THE TOP 5 OF THE SWISS ALBUM CHARTS
Schwellheim is voted Best Talent of March 2015 by the swiss radio station SRF 3 and enter the Swiss Album Charts with «Musik für
di» (eng: «music for you») at #5.
They probably could not have had a better kick off: their album, which they released in March, found a sympathetic ear not only with
their fans, but also with the critics, especially the devoted Schwellheim-Fans contributed greatly by voting «Musik für di» from nowhere to #5 of the Swiss Album Charts. Of course the Basel-Natives are extremely proud of these goings-on, and another bit of good news
is just around the next corner. «Musik für di» was honourd with a special award by the SRF3 editors: Schwellheim received the title
for «SRF Best Talent»after visiting the studio in March 2015. A great privilege for the band, who spoke out its gratitude with the following words: «A big thank you to the editors of SRF 3, we did not expect this and are therefore all the more happy.»
The album «Musik für di» by Schwellheim is now available on iTunes, cede.ch, or in any Exlibris store.

DEEPDIVE RECORDS ARE NOW REPRESENTED IN THE INDIESUISSE-COMMITTEE
Tobias Bolfing of deepdive records was elected as new board member in Lausanne.
This is a great honor for deepdive records: at the last General Assembly of the IndieSuisse-Committee in Lausanne on March 26th of
2015, Tobias Bolfing was voted one of only two new board members into the eight-headed committee. Therefore deepdive records is
now represented in the highest body of this young committee of independent music labels and producers for the first time. The IndieSuisse Committee targets a stronger function as the local scene’s voice. Until not long ago, Switzerland was one of the only countries
without such a body, so deepdive music and deepdive records are even happier to empower the committee with Tobias Bolfing. Allow
us to congratulate Tobias Bolfing to his election!
Aside of the second new board member, Fabienne Schmuki (Irascible Music), the IndieSuisse-Committe is further represented by:

THE CHIKITAS ARE PRESENTED WITH THE M4MUSIC-DEMOTAPE CLINIC AWARD
The Chikitas are the award winners of the m4Music 2015 Demotape Clinic in the catergory «Rock».
We’ve known this for a long time, now the makers of the m4Music-Demotape Clinic are convinced, too: The Chikitas rock some amazing skills! Their single «LaLaLaLa» came as a real bombshell and brought them the m4Music 2015 Demotape Clinic Award as «RockWinner». It is well known that talents given this award let hell loose carreer-wise later on. Congratulations to The Chikitas for this
prestigious prize – we can’t wait for the concerts to come!
The Chikitas are Lynn Maring (Gitarre, Gesang) and Saskia Fuertes (Drums, Gesang). The two genevan girls have been rocking as The
Chikitas since 2011. Their latest albums name is «Distoris Clitortion».

SINGLE-RELEASE «NADA SIRVE» VOM RAGGABUND
& THE DUBBY CONQUERORS STEHT VOR DER TÜR
The group will release their newest material shortly: single and album are about to be published.
Paco Mendoza and Don Caramelo are working hard on their newest tunes and are now giving them the final touch. Directly from Berlin
they update up about the last steps towards the release of their single «Nada Sirve» and the album «Buena Medicina»: «It was a very
productive weekend! We found some great locations in Berlin-Neukoelln for our video shoot», Raggabund tells us. The video for the
single «Nada Sirve» is now a wrap and will be released in the beginning of May. The latin, reggae und dancehall-group’s album will be
released in June of this year, right on time for hot summer days and long party nights.
«Because music is the best medicine for healthy communication on this planet « – Raggabund & The Dubby Conquerors about their
soon-to-be-released album «Buena Medicina».
Raggabund & The Dubby Conquerors know how to temper with different musical styles: originally coming from the HipHop and Crossover scene, solo artist Paco Mendoza, producer and host of Mestizo FM Radio (on WDR Funkhaus Europa), unites with the most talented musicians of the latin-, dancehall- and reggae - genres. Don Caramelo (Gentleman, Orishas, DJ Friction, Karamelo Santo) turns
out to be his perfect ally, and the band The Dubby Conquerors (Winners of the European Reggae Contest) are the icing on the cake.
«Nada Sirve» will be released on May 8th, 2015. The album «Buena Medicina» will follow on June 5th, 2015.

JO ELLE: VIDEO CLIP RELEASE OF «NOT GONNA WORRY»
The album «Comfort Zone» will be released on August 21st of 2015.
What a kick off: the single «Not Gonna Worry» is being released as we speak hasn’t even been featured on the radio, and already Jo
Elle is hyped by the media. There is a great public interest, and the release of her videoclip «Not gonna worry» will boost this comon
interest even more. Jo Elle faces all this with serenity - what else. The energetic woman with the powerful voice has reached her first
goal, her album being the next hightlight of her musical career.
The video clip was shot in San Francisco with the ease of the song represented in every picutre, in each scene. It is about a pleasant
anticipation of better days coming, a cheery pearl of pop representing Jo Elle as she likes to see herself: excited to face life, her heart
in the right place, and with the right amount of edge to take on the next steps of her musical journey.
The single «Not Gonna Worry» and its accompanying video clip were published on April 24th this year. Her album «Comfort Zone» will
be released on August 21st.

DEATH BY CHOCOLATE: NEUE TOURDATEN
Following the Swiss Music Award Nomination are the next big concerts of Death By Chocolate.
After being nominated for Best Talent 2015 at the Swiss Music Award 2015, singer and frontman Mäthu Schenk smiled from the cover
of MigrosMagazine («Mäthu Schenk breathes new life into the swiss musical scene»). A great honor for Death By Chocolate, who will
still prefer to rock the stages to dressing up for magazine covers. And indeed: the next tour dates are set. Many stages are just waiting
to be played on by Death By Chocolate. Would you like a taste of what’s coming? In April they’re performing at the Sage Club (Berlin)
and in St. Pauli’s famous Rock Café (Hamburg). Guest appearances are awaiting them in various swiss cities in May, as well as other
summer-gigs - for example at the Stars Of Sounds Festival in Murten, the Schmittner Openair, Konzert am Schluss in Thun and at the
Rock Oz Arènes Festival in Avenches. All we can say is: Rock on, Death By Chocolate!
