Texas Narcotic Officers Association Central Region Training “Hotel / Motel Interdiction” Cedar Park Police Department Training Room 911 Quest Parkway Cedar Park, Texas 78613 (Business Meeting 1:00PM) The Texas Narcotic Officers Association-Central Region, in conjunction with the Cedar Park Police Department, will offer training at the Cedar Park Police Training Facility, 911 Quest Parkway, Cedar Park, Texas on Friday, June 10, 2015. (8am5pm) This course is for Patrol, Criminal Investigators, Fugitive, Narcotic and Gang Units to become familiar with the various methods of investigation related to Hotel / Motel Interdiction. Crime occurs across the nation by members of society who use hotels to either sleep, conduct their criminal activity or to hide from law enforcement. This class will help the attendee learn methods to infiltrate and dismantle organizations utilizing Hotels/ Motels for their criminal behavior. Instructor: Inspector Anthony “Tony” Anderson- A fifteen (15) Year veteran Police Office assigned to the Illinois State Police, Narcotic and Currency Interdiction Task Force (NARCINT)- Chicago HIDTA. Inspector Anderson concentrates on the disruption of domestic and foreign drug trafficking organizations and narcotic / bulk currency smuggling within the State of Illinois. Inspector Anderson brings unique knowledge and a different perspective to Hotel/ Motel interdiction by being part of a Task Force that is responsible for seizing large quantities of drugs and bulk currency, much which originated in Texas. Inspector Anderson will help the attendee understand the importance of Hotel/ Motel Interdiction as related to Bulk Currency being smuggled out of Chicago and destined for the southern “Border States”. Patrol Officers, Supervisors, Analyst, CID Detectives, and Narcotic Agents are encouraged to attend. TNOA is not only Narcotic Officers. This training is very beneficial to all in law enforcement.
