BOTOX® Cosmetic
This nonsurgical treatment helps temporarily improve
frown lines between the brows (# 11s), horizontal
forehead lines and lines along the sides of the eyes
(crow’s feet).
Years of squinting, concentrating or frowning can
cause your skin to furrow and crease. As time passes,
your skin becomes less elastic and those lines remain,
even when your muscles aren’t moving.
BOTOX Cosmetic blocks nerve impulses to those
targeted facial muscles, reducing their movement.
This decreased muscle activity helps lessen the
appearance of lines.
Treatment is quick, just 20-30 minutes, and requires
only a few tiny injections. There is no downtime or
recovery. That’s why it’s often called a lunchtime
procedure.
Juvéderm XC contains a modified hyaluronic acid
derived from a naturally occurring sugar found in the
human body. It also contains a common anesthetic
called lidocaine to reduce discomfort. Using a fine
needle, it is injected directly underneath the skin
to instantly smooth away deep lines, resulting in
natural-looking results that last up to one year.
Juvéderm Voluma® XC injectable gel filler
This is the first and only FDA-approved injectable
gel used to add volume to the cheek area. Aging
contributes to loss of cheek volume that causes
the skin to create a flat and sunken cheek. A more
youthful profile starts with treatment of the cheeks
to provide a more round (like an apple) youthful cheek.
With BOTOX Cosmetic, you can get real, noticeable
results and still look like yourself.
Similar to Juvéderm XC, the Juvederm Voluma XC
contains a modified hylauronic acid derived from a
naturally occurring sugar found in the human body.
It also contains lidocaine to reduce discomfort. It is
injected underneath the skin into the cheek area. It
instantly adds volume to the cheek, creating contour
and a subtle lift for up to two years.

Winter can take a toll
on unprotected skin
It’s been a long, cold winter, and that
can strip your skin of its critical moisture balance. Dehydration leaves it
feeling dry, dull and flaky. Plus, extreme
temperatures contribute to sensitized,
irritated and chapped skin.
These skin conditions are often uncomfortable, even painful, and can lead to various
issues including broken capillaries, flaring
rosacea-prone skin, and a thick build-up of
dead skin cells.

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Consider your
skin’s moisture requirements. You might need to make
seasonal adjustments in your skincare regimen throughout the year. Consider switching to a moisturizer that
provides more hydration and emollients to replenish,
seal and protect your skin from harsh, cold air.
Treat dull-looking skin with exfoliating products and
treatments. It is imperative to understand the importance of exfoliation. Clogged skin cells can cause many
skin issues, including acne. Consider exfoliating with a

And finally, give your skin the hydration it deserves
by drinking plenty of water.
