Metcash Ordering System (Deal Details)
Introduction
The Metcash Ordering System consists of a ‘Deal Details’ component to enable Suppliers to set up and
manage deals they offer their customers.
This Document aims to highlight key features and processes within the system.
You will be provided with a User ID and Password to manage your Expo Deals and Orders.
Please remember to provide deals that will drive incremental purchases to celebrate this Sales Event. Any
deals that are keyed at Expo will be offered through to Retailers as a Case Deal rebate after all Expo
deliveries are made.
Please DO NOT log in via Internet Explorer. This system is designed for Google Chrome browser settings.
Suppliers log into the Metcash Ordering System by entering their Username (Supplier Code) and Password.
On successful entry into the Metcash Ordering System the Supplier can click the link to go to either Deal

To key deals:
Please assign your items and sub ranges to the correct deal structures. An item or sub range can reside on
multiple deal structures. Please utilise ‘parcel’ options when you would like to make an item or range’s
deal conditional upon purchasing another item/range.
Single Item Deals
To enter a Single item Deal, click on deal type “ Single Item Deals” and nominate all items and deals that
require a deal. Create deals for items where a minimum order qty will offer a customer deal, you should
offer greater discounts as minimum purchase qtys are increased.
Use drop down menus to select specific sub ranges/items, or all from vendor.

Parcel based Deals
Create deals for ‘parcels’ where a minimum order qty will offer a customer a deal, as long as the customer
meets another parcel condition, such as buying all products in the parcel, or a minimum carton qty across
the parcel.
Type A Parcels (minimum order qty across the parcel) = create deals for ‘parcels’ where a minimum item
qty and minimum total parcel order qty needs to be achieved
Type B Parcels (minimum order qty across all products) = create deals for ‘parcels’ where a minimum item
qty and minimum of ‘must order all items in parcel’ needs to be achieved
Type C Parcels (fixed incremental order qty across all products) = create deals for ‘parcels’ where a fixed
incremental item qty and minimum of ‘must order all items in parcel’ needs to be achieved – Perfect for
Pallet Buy qtys.
Note – There are only 3 parcels to choose from.
When creating a parcel you can add your own Naming convention, or add comments.
NB: The Comments section will be copied into the Deal Boko, and is therefore your opportunity to sell the
deal to the retailers.
Note: Comments section will show in the Expo
Deal Book, and is an opportunity to sell the deal
mechanics to our customers.
