The Summer Meisner Training is an
exacting and applicable introduction to
Meisner’s foundation-building system of
actor training. For beginning actors, it’s the
ideal first step to professional acting. For
experienced actors, it’s rigorous back-tobasics conditioning. You’ll learn the two
core planks of Meisner technique: the
“repetition exercise” and crafting
“independent activities.” Two classes weekly.
The Summer Chekhov Training is a
practical overview of Chekhov’s objective
method based on the governing creative
laws and principles of acting. You’ll learn
the “psychological gesture” and other
psycho-physical techniques unique to
Chekhov’s approach. Chekhov training is
for talented actors ready to bring their work
to the next level by dependable and artistically
fulfilling means. Two classes weekly.
The Combined Training offers a substantial
tuition break to enroll in both Intensives.

internationally recognized master teacher with over twenty-five years’
expertise with Chekhov method, Meisner technique and Stanislavsky
system. NE faculties: New England Conservatory, Emerson College,
Tufts University, University of New Hampshire. International faculty:
the Michael Chekhov Association. He is a regular collaborator and
teacher with leading artistic figures, companies and dramatic academies
in southeastern Europe and an award-winning director and actor.
