SYMPOSIUM
These 1½ days of intensive courses in Diagnostic
Ultrasound are sponsored by the Michigan
Sonographers’ Society (MSS). This is our 39th
Annual Spring Symposium and will be held on
Friday, April 17th & Saturday, April 18th, 2015.
The educational content of the symposium will be
presented by nationally renowned speakers in the
field of Diagnostic Ultrasound. Topics have been
chosen with the needs of ultrasound professionals
of all experience levels in mind. Application has
been made to the SDMS for 12 continuing medical
education credits and will be tracked by the SDMS
CME tracker.

We are proud to be celebrating our 40th Anniversary
at the 2015 Annual Spring Symposium. This year our
symposium will be hosted at the historic Dearborn
Inn in Dearborn, Michigan – very close to Oakwood
Hospital – the location of our very first symposium in
1976. Greenfield Village, The Henry Ford Museum,
and an amazing IMAX theater are only a few steps
across the street.
I would like to acknowledge our faculty, commercial

One-day registration is available for those unable to attend both days. Full payment must
accompany your registration form. Advanced registration must be received by Friday, March
26, 2015. Registrations received after this date and on-site registrations are available at
an increased cost. A student rate is offered to students of accredited Diagnostic Medical
Sonography Programs. A letter from the program director verifying the DMS students’ status
must accompany student registration forms. See the enclosed symposium registration form for
all fees. Those wishing confirmation of their registration must send a self-addressed stamped
envelope or an e-mail address. No other verification will be sent.
MEMBERSHIP
Take advantage of the reduced member registration fees by becoming a member of the MSS.
Complete the enclosed Membership Application Form and include it with your Symposium
Registration Form and all applicable fees. Please note that membership is active through August,
2015.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Refunds will be made upon written request only if received by Friday, March 26, 2015.
Symposium cancellations received between March 27- April 2, 2015 will be refunded
50% of registration fees. No refunds after April 2, 2015.
