Technologies and measures for reducing consumption and emissions without any reduction in driving enjoyment – that’s what
Audi ultra stands for. Standard in every Audi model. The long-term aim: completely emission-free mobility. To achieve this, we
are systematically continuing our development work. On more and more efficient drive technologies, for example. Such as the
g-tron and e-tron drives – which combine state-of-the-art TFSI or TDI engines with natural gas or electric drives. But also on the
economical petrol or diesel engines themselves. We award the most sustainable of these with the ultra emblem on the rear of
the model, which announces: maximum efficiency ahead. Thanks to a CO₂ emission value that for the Audi A1 TDI ultra is between
89 and 94 g/km (combined). And without having to give up the dynamics typical of Audi. Experience the Audi A1 ultra model –

Audi TDI engines: high torque output over the entire engine speed
range – with constant power build-up. They are renowned for being
fuel-efficient and for reducing emissions. The 1.4 TDI ultra, for
example, has a power output of 66 kW, a top speed of 182 km/h and
accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.4 seconds in the Audi A1.

The availability of the services supported by Audi
connect varies from country to country. The services
are provided for at least one year from vehicle delivery.
The traffic information online service requires initial
activation in the vehicle. From that point onwards, this
service is subject to a 36-month usage limit (in as far
as activation takes place within 6 months of vehicle
delivery; otherwise corresponding shortening of the
usage rights).

everything at a glance – have selected information for
vehicle control displayed directly on your smartphone
with Audi connect. Audi eInfo uses the camera built
into the smartphone to detect objects in the vehicle:
just place the phone in the bracket behind the steering
wheel, start the app and focus the camera on different
controls in the driver area. If the element is recognised,
operating instructions related to the function can be
displayed on request. The Audi eInfo for the Audi A1 and
Audi A1 Sportback: specific information – clear, fast
and without leafing through anything!
Secondary collision brake assist⁴
Following an accident, uncontrolled continued vehicle
motion is prevented in certain situations. In these cases
secondary collisions can be avoided.
Hill hold assist⁴
makes it more convenient to drive away on almost any
gradient thanks to automatic braking intervention.
After the foot brake has been pressed for a while with
the vehicle stationary, the brake pressure that is built
up is maintained for a short time after the brake is
released.
Parking system, rear⁴
makes reverse parking easier within system limits by
indicating acoustically how far away the vehicle is from
an object detected behind the vehicle; measurement is
by ultrasonic sensors integrated discreetly in the bumper;
active when reverse gear is selected
Bluetooth interface³
Bluetooth-capable mobile phones can be connected to
the vehicle via the interface. Hands-free calls in the
vehicle possible via microphone; including Bluetooth
audio streaming (depending on mobile phone
compatibility).

actuation reduces gear-change times and allows gear

power. In automatic mode, programmes D (Drive) and

operated using the optional shift paddles behind the
steering wheel or the selector lever. Includes hill hold

efficiency mode shifts specially selected systems (e.g.
engine, air conditioning) to a consumption-improved
basic setting.
quattro®
quattro permanent all-wheel drive with electronically
controlled multi-plate clutch at the rear axle and
Electronic Differential Lock (EDL) and wheel-selective
torque control. The system integrated into the
ESC distributes the drive torques on all driven wheels
depending on the driving situation by means of
targeted braking actions. It actively countersteers
in corners. The result is improved traction and
dynamic performance when cornering and more
precise and neutral handling (less understeer).
Agility during steering is also improved.

Audi experience
The fascination of Audi can be experienced in many
different ways. Audi City in Berlin, Audi City in London
and Audi City in Beijing, for example, give you digital
access to all models at their actual size and in real time.
And of course it is always worth visiting one of the major
motor shows. This is where Audi always presents its new
models and invites you to take a look at how the future
is being shaped with “Vorsprung durch Technik”. Anyone
interested in seeing how Audi is already putting this into
practice will find fascinating insight in the “Vorsprung durch
Technik” online special at www.audi.com. But a look back
can also be rewarding: at the Audi museum mobile in
Ingolstadt, history and high-tech go hand in hand. A total
of 130 historic exhibits and modern forms of presentation
make for a thrilling symbiosis. Plus, Audi driving experience
allows you to live the excitement and countless possibilities
of current Audi models. Here, pure driving enjoyment is
combined with valuable learning effects. This is ensured by
a team of specially trained and highly qualified instructors
who provide practical tips to help you optimise your driving
skills. All this can now also be enjoyed at the recently opened
Audi driving experience center in Neuburg, near Ingolstadt.
Facilities here include a circuit of up to 3.4 kilometres that
features challenging combinations of bends, a 30,000 m²
dynamic driving area and an offroad section where Q models
can be put through their paces.
