2015 Middlefield Clean-Up
Get out your trash bags, clean-up the roadsides, and celebrate our beautiful town with ice cream!
A good way to enjoy the good weather would be to join us at the 3rd Annual Middlefield
Cleanup Day on Sunday, June 14, from 10 am to 1 pm. This year, we’re co-sponsoring the
cleanup with the Middlefield Recreation Committee. Thanks to Chris Bresnahan and her team
for the partnership.
Last year 10 people picked up 260 gallons of litter! Our goal this year is to break the record both
for the number of participants and the quantity of trash. Please give an hour if you can. Everyone
is welcome!
To participate, come to Fairgrounds entrance at any time between 10 – 1 to get a bag and choose
what road you want to work on. Bring gloves and a “grabber” if you have one. Wear bright
colors - an orange safety vest would be perfect. And when you’re finished, return your bulging
bag(s) to the Clean-Up Truck at the Fairgrounds entrance and have a free ice cream cone to
celebrate our accomplishment!
