The Teacher Training Practices
 The target of the practices is to develop and deepen the professional growth of the
student.
 During the practice, theory and practice interact: the matters the student has learnt during
the pedagogic studies and the subject education will be applied in the class and, on the
other hand, the practice will be conceptualized.
 The student is supervised so that he / she will become aware of his / her own educational
theory through co-operational and individual methods.
 The practices are supervised and instructed, and the aim is to gradually increase the
independence of the student.

What happens in a class:
 In the beginning of the practice period, the
class team (the class teacher and the
students) plans the teaching and makes
written long term plans for the whole period in
each teaching subject.
 Written plans are also made for each individual
lesson.
 Plans are made in co-operation with the class
teacher and the university teachers of subject
didactics.

Personal training plan
 In the beginning of the practice period the student will compose a
personal training plan in which he / she will register the personal
learning targets based on the targets set by the class teacher section
 During the practice, the student will reflect his / her professional
development and evaluate the learning process and the results
compared to the self-set goals.
 At the end of the practice, the student will write a self-evaluating report.
The report will then be used as a basis in the last evaluation discussion
