Mentoring Young Ladies to
Become Leaders of Tomorrow
The Miss Rhode Island Princess Program
is designed to introduce young ladies,
ages 5 through 12, to the Miss Rhode
Island, Rhode Island’s Outstanding
Teen, and Miss America Scholarship
Programs. The mission of our program
is to allow young ladies to work closely
with and be mentored by Miss Rhode
Island
and
Miss
Rhode
Island’s
Outstanding Teen titleholders and
contestants. Participants of the Miss
Rhode Island Princess Program will also
learn that what is on the inside is more
important than any crown or sash.

Miss Rhode Island Princess Official Application Process
To become a participant in the Rhode Island Princess Program,
complete the following steps:

Complete and sign the Statement of Understanding (page 3)
$150.00 registration fee made payable to the Miss Rhode Island
Scholarship Program
Submit all the completed application material to Ellary Gamache
(address on page 2).

Statement of Understanding
As the parent/guardian of ________________________ I
understand that her participation will include rehearsals and activities
conducted by the Miss Rhode Island Scholarship Program. I understand
that the Miss Rhode Island Princess Program is NOT a competition but a
mentoring and learning opportunity provided by the Miss Rhode Island
and Outstanding Teen Programs. I agree to conduct myself in an
appropriate manner at all times and understand that I may not be
allowed backstage during pageant productions. I also will ensure that
my daughter, _______________________, will conduct herself in an
appropriate manner at all times.

The Miss Rhode Island Princess Program may require additional volunteers to
ensure that our princesses have productive and fun times together! Parent
volunteers will be given a small discount in exchange for dedicating their
time to a) one Princess rehearsal, b) one Princess Tea Party, c) a short
rehearsal on-stage, and d) backstage during the Miss Rhode Island’s
Outstanding Teen Pageant. Please let us know if you would be willing to
accept this responsibility. Parent volunteers will be accepted on a first-come,
first- serve basis, and only one parent volunteer will be accepted for every
five Princess Program participants.
