DONATION OPPORTUNITIES
Dear Friend of the MMCI Community,
MMCI (Monocacy Montessori Communities, Inc.) would like to invite your company to become
a donor for the 2015 MMCI Spring Auction, to be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Talley
Recreation Center. MMCI is a not-for-profit organization that holds the charter to our two Frederick
County public Montessori charter schools – Carroll Creek Montessori and Monocacy Valley Montessori.
We work to provide educational choice in our community, to strengthen learning opportunities for
children, and to provide enrichment programming to help each child grow into his or her potential.
Our schools are open to all Frederick County children, from Pre-K at age 3 to 8th grade.
We do many things for the MMCI community – from providing an opportunity for parents to be
deeply involved in the governance of our schools, securing and maintaining school buildings, and
offering services such as enrichment programming and summer camps. We are especially proud
of the quality Montessori programs both our schools offer as well as the unique Dual Language
and Spanish-enrichment programs at Carroll Creek Montessori--both of which are free to the public.
The annual auction is our largest fund-raiser, and our goal – with your help – is to raise $20,000
for the good work we do for our children and families. MMCI has been in existence for over 12
years providing Frederick County with school choice as well as being responsible for opening
the first charter school in the state of Maryland. We hope that you will consider supporting the
2015 MMCI Spring Auction through the donation of a product or service from your company.
