The Minnesota NHL Alumni Association is a
fully accredited non-profit charitable
corporation operating within IRS section
501(c)(3). The official name was changed
from North Star Alumni Association to
Minnesota NHL Alumni Association in 1997 to
better reflect the background and make-up of
the membership. As a charitable organization
the Alumni has raised over $450,000 for local
charities, including youth hockey and AED
defibrillators for area hockey arenas.
