Elderly Couple Texting - Very Romantic
An elderly couple, who had just learned how to send text messages on their mobile
phones.
The wife was a romantic type and the husband was more of a no-nonsense guy.
One afternoon the wife went out to meet a friend for coffee.
She decided to send her husband a romantic text message and she wrote:
"If you are sleeping, send me your dreams.
If you are laughing, send me your smile. If you are eating, send me a bite.
If you are drinking, send me a sip. If you are crying, send me your tears.
I love you."
The husband texted back to her, "I'm on the toilet. Please advise."
A funeral service is being held in a church for a woman who has just passed away. At the
end of the service, the pall-bearers are carrying the casket out when they accidentally
bump into a wall, jarring the casket. They hear a faint moan. They open the casket and
find that the woman is actually still alive. She lives for ten more years and then dies. A
ceremony is again held at the same church and at the end of the ceremony, the pall
bearers are again carrying out the casket. As they are walking, the husband cries out
“watch out for that wall”
Labor Day Traffic
A senior citizen called her husband during his drive home, “Frank, I just heard on the news
that there’s a car going the wrong way on Interstate 75, Please be careful!”
Frank said, “It’s not just one car. There’s hundreds of them!”
"The Old Days"
Grandpa was telling his young grandson what life was like when he was a boy.
"In the winter we’d ice skate on our pond. In the summer we could swim in the pond, and pick berries in
the woods. We’d swing on an old tire my dad hung from a tree on a rope. And we had a pony we rode all
over the farm."
The little boy was amazed, and sat silently for a minute. Finally he said, "Granddad, I wish I'd gotten to
know you a lot sooner!"
