Our thought for the month –
“He Who Waits Is Lost”.
Welcome again from News with a View for May & June 2015 and a warm welcome to new
residents moving to our village at the end of May 2015, to villa 9 and villa 17, from Foster and
Leongatha respectively.
Our thought for the month comes from Benjamin Franklin. A couple of hundred years ago,
Benjamin Franklin shared with the world the secret of his success. Never leave that till tomorrow,
he said, which you can do today. This is the man who discovered electricity. You think more people
would listen to what he had to say. Who knows why we put things off, it may have a lot to do with
fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, sometimes just the fear of making a decision, because what
if you're wrong? What if you're making a mistake you can't undo?
The early bird catches the worm. A stitch in time saves nine. He who hesitates is lost. We've all
heard the proverbs, heard the philosophers and listened to our grandparents warning us about
wasted time. We’ve read the poets urging us to seize the day! Still sometimes we have to learn for
ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to gain wisdom from our own lessons.
We continue to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug …..
This leads us to….Village Life at Mountain View Leongatha – Our Easter enquiries came thick
and fast this season, bringing two brand new sales of villas here at Mountain View, both purchased
by locals.
