Purchasing Saplings of Bamboo species for Bambusetum
MP State Bamboo Mission, in collaboration with MP Forest department and MP
Biodiversity Board, is developing a Bambusetum of international standards, under
the technical guidance of Kerala Forest research Institute. We have launched the
Bambusetum Project at Ecological Garden, Laharpur, Katara hills, Bhopal (M.P.).
At present there are 25 species of bamboo, and we aim for 200 bamboo species
from all over the world.
Any organisation or individual having saplings of any bamboo species apart from
the species already planted (list attached below) may kindly communicate with us
along with the details of species, numbers and rates. We need minimum ten
saplings of each new species. MPSBM will purchase the saplings.
