READ THIS CHECKLIST IN ITS ENTIRETY!
*Practice will continue throughout the summer and will be on FRIDAYS at the gym from 3:45-5:15pm, please
make arrangements for carpool (contact other members of the squad). All members MUST wear their cheer
gym practice attire every Monday, or they will receive demerits – attire is: red shorts, black practice shirt,
practice bow with high pony tail, cheer shoes, and NO JELEWRY or FOOD being eaten. This will be mainly a
tumbling class with some other cheer skills mixed in. All members are given 2”freebies” for missed summer
practices – BUT make sure you email/text coach to avoid demerits for not notifying!
-Practice the chants on the video and in the chant packet @ least once a week: These ALL need to be
perfect by July 31st : ) Have a question about motions? Contact an older member to clarify!
*Note: Videos will be uploaded to my classroom/cheer website and will be linked through dropbox. Keep in
mind that the videos are NOT mirroring you so you will need to do the opposite if you watch it head on.
-STRETCH – ALL members must have all splits by July 31st: Any time you are watching TV I would advice holding
a stretch : )
- I HIGHLY recommend doing private lessons or an additional tumbling class through Prodigy All-stars/Cypress
Academy, #: (713) 776-3449 -Any member with a standing back handspring without a spot (by July 31st) will
receive 3 merits 
All members must attend cheer camp to remain on the squad:
Camp will be held at Prodigy All-stars, ALL cheerleaders will need to arrive at the gym on AUGUST 14th
@ 10:45am wearing; black capris, red shirt, hair in a high pony tail with practice bow and infinity
shoes. There will be NO LUNCH BREAK TODAY so eat before you come.
-All cheerleaders will need to pack their black practice shirt and red shorts as well as an overnight
bag and a refillable water bottle and bring it with them to the gym. Fridays dinner and Saturdays
breakfast and lunch will be provided by coach.
-After camp on August 14th all members will go with Coach Berkowitz for a cheer sleep over/social
and will stay the night with her and will be transported back to the gym on August 15th for the final
day of camp.
-All cheerleaders will need to be picked up promptly @ 5:00pm from the gym on August 15th
-In order to attend the camp and enroll all members must do the following before July 31st:
-The camp must be paid for in full. The cost for both days (a total of 13 gym hours) and our competition music
for the season is: TBA per cheerleader. Last year the cost was $140pp and this year will be similar/maybe
cheaper : ). I will be paying the gym all at once for the camp and music so please make sure and turn in
$TBA(cash only) to coach in a LABELED envelope BEFORE camp begins.
*Please note that all of the above was addressed at the parent meeting and also was written in the handbook and that no exceptions
can be made so please do not ask. I understand that things happen but I simply cannot make exceptions and everything was
communicated earlier so that prior arrangements could have been made. Thank you for understanding this! If you have any further
