Are you interested in tsunamis, tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, and more? We are looking for aspiring meteorologists.

Explore a secular overview of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism. Activites will include basic history
and geography of each religion, an overview of core beliefs,
principles, and prophets/leaders. Read excerpts from texts important to each faith and examine how religions have impacted
culture around the world.

(Grades 3-4) If you have a story to tell, let’s show the fire to

#3 WPKO & WBLL Sportscaster Camp (Gr ades 6-8)
At the 8th annual Sportscaster Camp, you will learn how to call
sports play-by-play for radio, interview famous guests, collect
and report news, make commercial, and write stories for the
internet. You will help call the live play-by-play of a baseball
game from Blue Jacket Park one evening on 1390 WBLL and
be part of a live radio show on WBLL where we will talk sports
for one hour.

Can you build a really tall tower using only straws? Do you
want to build a vehicle that can fly or a life raft to sail the

Do you have a competitive side and love to play games? Let’s
have a ton of fun playing some games this summer! Learn
math, logic, and critical thinking skills while playing games.

Use elements of geometry to make fun crafts and art pieces. We
will create geometric solids, tessellations, magic foldables, and
string art that you can take home and hang up. We will draw,
fold, color, cut, measure and glue, all while using math.

#7 Crazy for Chemistry (Gr ades 2-4)
Are you crazy for chemistry or silly for science? Our many
experiments this week will include growing a gummy bear,
making Oobleck, blowing up a balloon without using your
mouth, making our own ice cream and creating Mentos geysers.
All while learning about scientific method, molecules, solids/
liquids, & chemical reactions.

animals on our planet. Learn about sharks through dissection

and discuss the math involved in sewing and quilting. Measure
