Overview of Gout
What Is Gout?
Gout is a form of arthritis that often sneaks up at night, attacking your joints, ankle, elbow,
heel, wrist, knee or finger; it causes swelling, redness, heat, pain, and stiffness in the joints.
Gout is one of the most painful diseases. It results from deposits of needle-like crystals of
uric acid in the connective tissue around joints, kidneys, and other organs. Moreover,
untreated Gout can cause permanent joint and kidney damage.
The Root Cause of Gout:
Scientists have discovered the “Root Cause” of Gout is the modern diet and lifestyle, causing
your body to become diseased by acids, sugars‚ carbohydrates‚ excess fats and uric acid
keep flowing through our bloodstream. Gout is a symptom of pollutants, toxic and acidic
wastes collect in the body.
If you don't stop the Gout attacks on your body, you develop more serious conditions and
eventually life-threatening health problems.
Dr. Robert O. Young is an American microbiologist and nutrition scientist. He's known as
one of the top research scientists in the world.
Published in medical journals and having conducted tests in collaboration with the John
Hopkins Medical School, his findings are irrefutable and indisputable. Here’s what leading
scientist, Dr. Robert O. Young, has to say about the ROOT cause of Gout:
3
"There is only One Sickness and One Disease, and this one ‘sickness’ is the
over-acidification of the body due primarily to an inverted way of living,
thinking, and eating... there can therefore be only one remedy and treatment,
and that is to alkalize the body and break the cycle of imbalance, thus
allowing us to experience the energy, vitality and true health we’re all meant
to have.”
Dr Robert O. Young,
Microbiologist and Scientist
His findings are currently sending shockwaves throughout the scientific community.
It's more important to focus on the ‘Root Cause’ of your Gout. When you "cleanse" the body
from the overflow of carbohydrates‚ excess fats and uric acid, it starts to heal and recover
gradually.
4
What Increases Your Risk?
The following diseases, medical conditions, medical treatments and prescribed medications
can increase your risk of gout, including:
Being overweight
Excessive alcohol consumption per day, especially beer
Excessive sweetened soft drinks consumption per day
An enzyme defect that prevents the breakdown of uric acid
Consumption excessive amounts of foods with high levels of purines
Frequent episodes of dehydration
Exposure to environmental lead (Lead Poisoning)
Have family members with the gout disease
Chemotherapy
Diabetes
Hardening of the arteries
High Blood Pressure
Hypertension
Heart disease
Liver Abnormalities
Kidney Disease can cause the sufferer to have a high chance of having a gout attack due to
the clearance or urate from the kidneys is severely affected.
Certain drugs are known to cause uric levels to rise. They include insulin, diuretics,
levodopa, cyclosporine, aspirin, and others. This is another reason that natural gout
remedies have become so popular.
