MTGK Institute, founded in 1998 by Texas Native Tommy Yuan, Ph.D.
•Trains students to understand mathematics in a way that makes it applicable to the world around them.
• Explains how to use specific calculations and WHY those calculations lead to the answer.
• Enriches math curriculum taught in public schools in the way formulas are studied and applied.
•Teaches invaluable problem-solving skills that can be developed for all facets of life.
MTGK Summer Math Courses, which holds twice a week in a total seven weeks, are focusing on teaching
the skills of solving word problems. The concepts will be refined and clarified through solving the word
problems. In our math class, our students will go through the process of solving word problem by
answering a sequence of leading questions that asked by our certified instructors.

Procedures:
♦ Submit application form with $30 application fee (non-refundable, cash only).
♦ Schedule admission test date and time. Seat reservation first come/first serve.
♦ Student will be recommended to a class according to the test result.

of $20 for each class missed, which have to be pre-arranged during the registration.
