Beginner with Play:
Fee $110.00 Resident/$125.00 Non-resident
Learn fundamental strokes and how to play; Includes play with instruction.
Maximum of 12 per class. Tuesdays: 10:30 to 12:00 p.m.
Advanced Beginner Instruction with Play:
Fee $110.00 Resident/$125.00 Non-resident
Improve skills on basic strokes. Some introduction on advanced shots.
Instruction based on individual needs. Includes play with instruction.
Maximum of 12 per class. Wednesdays: 9:00 to 10:25 a.m.
New!! Winning Ways:
Fee $110.00 Resident/$125.00 Non-resident
Emphasis on shot selection, game plan, changing defense into offense, and footwork for
improved performance for INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED Players.
Maximum of 12 per class. Tuesdays: 9:00 to 10:25 a.m.
HIT a “TON” of BALLS (all levels):
Fee $110.00 Resident/$125.00 Non-resident
Repetition is the key to performing strokes. Some instruction, but emphasis on
practicing various strokes to achieve improved level. Last 30 minutes will be “live” play!
Maximum of 12 per class/ minimum 8. Thursdays: 9:00 to 10:25 a.m.
Specialty Shots:
Fee $110.00 Resident/$125.00 Non-resident
Half volleys, drop shots, top spin lobs, and top spin serves. Last 30 minutes will be “live” play!
Maximum of 6 per class. Wednesdays: 10:30 to 12:00 p.m.
New!! Strengthen Your Weakness:
Fee $110.00 Resident/$125.00 Non-resident
Every week a new shot will be worked on with both forehand and backhand versions being
worked on separate courts. Last 30 minutes will be “live” play!
Maximum of 12 per class/ minimum 8. Thursdays: 10:30 to 12:00 p.m.
Participants must supply own racquet.
Classes will be held at Manalapan Recreational Center courts.
Adult Program fees do not include participation T-shirt.

ACCIDENT INSURANCE
In order to additionally protect participants in our Recreation programs, Manalapan Township maintains a
"LIMITED FORM OF CONTRACT" accident insurance for youth sponsored programs (with the exception
of skiing, boxing, lacrosse and ice hockey), which is intended to be only supplemental to your own personal
health insurance. This coverage has restrictions and limitations and does not include individuals over the age
of 18. All participants are encouraged to carry their own personal health insurance to adequately be
protected in case of emergency. Manalapan Township carries NO health insurance coverage for personal
injury while participating on sponsored ski trips or any of the excluded categories.
PROGRAM ACCIDENT INSURANCE/DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
Programs sponsored by Manalapan Parks and Recreation offer an opportunity for participants to explore and
test the limits of their abilities. Every effort is made by staff and volunteers to protect the safety of all
participants. Your participation in the Manalapan Recreation Program is voluntary and we assume no
responsibility for any injuries or accidents that may occur.
MEDICAL ATTENTION
I hereby authorize the attending physician to administer treatment on behalf of the above minor participant in
the event of an emergency. I also assume financial responsibility for any medical treatment for my child not
covered under the Township’s accident insurance policy.
ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
I hereby consent to allow my child to participate in Manalapan Recreation sponsored activities.
