Bernalillo and Cuba on US Hwy 550.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has designated the site as a "trials bike with trials tires only"
area. No ATV's or MX bikes.
All Bikes Must Have Spark Arrestors.
Primitive camping is available at no charge.
A potluck is planned for Saturday evening. Burgers & dogs provided ~ bring a side-dish or something
to share, and bring your own beverages.
Driving directions:
From US I-25, take exit #242 for US-550 West. Continue 22 miles to San Ysidro (watch your speed
through town), and go about 1 mile to the west of town.
On the north side of the road there is a gated, sandy/dirt road. The gate should be unlocked on
event days, but please close it after going through (don't lock it). If you are arriving on Friday, call
John at 575-430-2079 for entry instructions.
The event area is about 1.2 miles up the road, and the road is generally passable by any vehicle.
This area is shared ~ so please be courteous if you come across any hikers or cattle grazing.
