AFFORDABLE 42,000-SQUARE-FOOT SENIOR LIVING RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY
CELEBRATES OPENING BY INVITING PUBLIC TO HOUSEWARMING EVENT
Frisco, TEXAS April 30, 2015: Most senior living communities today more closely resemble hotels
than they do the homes where families spend their lives together. Mustang Creek Estates is changing
that by embracing a warm, residential feel. Its new community, Mustang Creek Estates of Frisco, is
bringing an intimate, affordable senior housing concept to families in the area. The $7-million-dollar
assisted living and memory care community recently opened and is thoughtfully set up like the
neighborhood, where up to 16 seniors will live in each of the six homes. The focal point of each home
is the open kitchen where residents can see their food being prepared from scratch and smell the
aromas of home-cooked, delicious meals. Residents receive personal assisted care and enjoy
participating in daily, enriching and fun activities in their home and other homes throughout the
community. This flexible schedule allows residents to continue living as they did at home. The
community will create 60 jobs, and the well-trained, compassionate staff will provide high-quality care
for their 90 residents.
To celebrate and welcome this unique style of senior living to the area, Mustang Creek Estates of
Frisco invites its friends, neighbors and Frisco residents to attend its Housewarming and Ribbon
Cutting celebration Tuesday, May 12th. The public is welcome to come-and-go during the fun and
lively event from 3 to 6 p.m., tour the newly finished memory care home and celebrate with the ribbon
cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. at 1200 West Main Street in Frisco. The event will feature
complimentary valet, delicious, home-style hors d’oeuvres served alongside a refreshing signature
cocktail, and a local guitarist will provide the soundtrack to this memorable occasion. Door prizes of
gift certificates and more will be drawn every half hour for those present and a grand prize winner will
receive an iPad Mini. Members of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and the Mustang Creek Estates
leadership team, including CFO Chris Leuschen and founders Renee Ramsey and John Roach, will
join staff and residents at the celebration. The team at Mustang Creek Estates is committed to
creating a home where seniors can feel safe and secure in a friendly and loving environment. Locallyowned, Mustang Creek Estates has been in business for 10 years with sister communities in Allen
and Keller, and has plans to expand in North Texas.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the Frisco community, and we feel that the residents are true
extensions of our own families,” said Renee Ramsey, CEO of Mustang Creek Estates. “Our
affordable, neighborhood-style environment makes it very easy for residents to feel comfortable,
engaged and immediately at home. They can make their own schedules, enjoy the smells and tastes
of home-cooked meals, participate in activities and spend time visiting with their neighbors. Each
home in our community is designed to be warm, inviting and enriching to our residents, with all the
comforts of home and at an affordable price.”
The intimate size allows staff to really get to know the residents personally. Mustang Creek Estates
has found that its model creates bonds similar to the ones families share, and it leads to more
individualized attention and care paid to each of its residents. As a result, deeper relationships
develop in an extremely loving environment.
“This approach is like nothing else in Frisco, and we have seen the positive impact of this
personalized style of care here already,” said Felecia Wells, executive director of Mustang Creek
Estates of Frisco. “We’re looking forward to continuing to enhance the lives of seniors and their
families in Frisco.”
The staff and residents look forward to welcoming the Frisco community to their upcoming celebration
and sharing what makes Mustang Creek Estates of Frisco special in the hearts of seniors and
families. The celebration will be Tuesday, May 12th from 3 to 6 p.m., with a ribbon cutting celebration
at 4:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend and should RSVP by calling 214-649-5445 or email
