how do i make a spa appointment?
We recommend that you make your spa reservations well in advance of
your arrival. The Spa is typically very busy on weekends as well as many
weekdays, so it may be difficult to arrange for spa services on the day of
your arrival. For guests not registered at The Hotel Hershey, a valid credit
card will be required to reserve spa appointments. Debit cards will not be
accepted to reserve spa appointments. To schedule your appointment, please
call 1-877-772-9988 or 717-520-5888. The spa reservations office is
open daily beginning at 8 AM. All spa services are subject to availability.

how early should i arrive for my spa services?
Please check in at the spa reception desk 30 minutes prior to your first
scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, late arrivals may not receive an
extension of scheduled treatments, so as not to inconvenience other spa
guests. All spa guests have complimentary use of the Fitness Center, dry
sauna, indoor swimming pool, and whirlpool. In addition, you will have
use of all spa facilities which include steam room, men’s and ladies’
locker rooms, Quiet Room, Silent Relaxation Room, and lunch in The
Oasis (à la carte or within spa packages).
what time does the spa open?
The Spa opens at 8:30 AM. Services are available daily beginning at
9 AM. Hours may vary by season and day of the week.
what should i bring to the spa?
You will be provided with a robe and slippers to change into before your
spa treatment. What should you wear under the robe? That is up to you.
Our spa therapists will only expose the portion of your body that is being
treated at the time. A swimsuit is requested for the Spa Rain Shower.
do i need to tip the spa therapists?
For your convenience, a 20% service charge will be added to your bill
for all à la carte services and day spa packages. The gratuity will be
distributed to the spa therapists and support staff who served you during
your spa experience.
what do i do if i need to cancel my appointments?
Please notify The Spa a minimum of 24 hours in advance should you
need to cancel or reschedule to avoid a 50% charge for the service.
All no-show appointments will be charged at full value.
may i use my cell phone while in the spa?
As a courtesy to other spa guests, we ask that all electronic devices (cell
phones, laptops, smart phones, etc.) be turned off and not used while in
The Spa. For your convenience, several house phones are located
throughout The Spa.
may i request a male or female spa therapist?
When scheduling your treatments, you may request a male or female
therapist; however, we regret that we cannot guarantee this preference.
All of our therapists are highly skilled professionals and are well-trained in
draping techniques to provide you with the utmost comfort for your Spa
experience. Our ability to schedule you with either allows us to provide
you the widest range of appointment availability.
may i bring my child to the spa?
Services for guests 13-17 years old are available. These services will
be provided for our teen guests in the Garden Salon. Please check in
at the salon reception desk 10-15 minutes prior to your first scheduled
appointment. Teens can also enjoy our Oasis relaxation lounge and The
Oasis spa restaurant. The men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, Quiet Room,
Silent Relaxation Room, Inhalation Room, as well as massage therapy
services, baths, exfoliations, and wraps are not available for teens13-17.
should i tell anyone about any physical, medical, or
allergy concerns?
Upon arrival to The Spa, you will complete a brief health history
questionnaire to assist the Spa Technicians in providing you the best
possible experience and to assure your maximum safety and comfort. We
encourage you to disclose any pertinent health conditions that may affect
your spa experience. Spa services marked with an asterisk (*)
are not recommended for guests who are pregnant.
what should i do with my jewelry and other valuables?
Please leave jewelry and other valuables at home or in your hotel suite.
The Spa is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items.
may i use the fitness center and pools during my spa visit?
Use of the Fitness Center is complimentary for registered hotel guests and
day spa guests. The Fitness Center is open daily from 6:30 AM - 10
PM. Guests of the Fitness Center must be 16 or older. Guests of The Spa
may also use the Indoor Pool. The Spa is not responsible for any lost or
misplaced items.
where to lunch?
The Oasis provides Spa guests with mid-day dining in the comfort of
your Spa robe. Reservations are required and must be made in advance
to ensure seating availability. If we are unable to accommodate you in
The Oasis, an in-room dining menu is available to service you at our
indoor pool area. Trevi 5 and Harvest are also available; however,
guests must be properly attired and additional time may be needed for
dining at these locations.
