olf is a game for all people. Whether you are a beginner,
intermediate or experienced player, Gator Lakes Golf
Course offers a program for you. Each year the staff at
Gator Lakes introduces new programs aimed at helping golfers
enhance their enjoyment of the game and to introduce new
players to the world of golf. Whether your goal is to break 80,
or learn what a Bogey is; Gator Lakes can help. This brochure is
intended to introduce you to our programs.
A well dressed golfer is a credit to fellow golfers and the sport of
golf. The following dress code applies to the entire golf course
complex and all patrons must be appropriately dressed at all
times. The staff reserve the right to determine proper attire.
Shirts with sleeves and shoes are required at all times. The
following items are prohibited: Tank tops, (sleeveless golf shirts
are permitted for ladies), playing without a shirt, bathing suits,
gym/jogging shorts, halters, midriff exposing shirts, athletic
jerseys, shoes with unusually hard rubber outsoles, hard cleats,
shoes with heels and wearing any part of the military uniform,
(wearing the uniform is permitted on the practice areas).
Like any business Gator Lakes is constantly changing and
evolving to meet the needs of our customers. You can find
information about course happenings at the golf shop, online
at myhurlburt.com or in “MyHurlburt Life” magazine. As always,
we welcome your comments. If you have an idea of a program
you would like to participate in or would like to make a suggestion
to make your golfing experience better, please share it with the
golf shop staff or fill out a comment card on your next visit.
Gator Lakes is your facility and we encourage you to use it and
help mold it into a facility that you will be proud to call your
home course.

TOURNAMENTS
Gator Lakes offers monthly weekend tournaments to get your
competitive juices flowing. The format changes each month and
offers something for everyone. A GHIN handicap is required for
most events. Check “MyHurlburt Life” magazine for information on
upcoming events.
FUNDRAISERS
Gator Lakes is a great place to hold your next booster club
fundraiser. Did you know that a tournament with 45 participants
can net as much as $700? If you want to maximize fun and
minimize work for your next fundraiser contact the golf shop today
for more information. The staff has helped organize hundreds of
events and has the experience and knowledge to help you make
your event a success.
CATERED EVENTS
The Oasis Café offers a multitude of options for Squadrons and
individuals. If you are looking for a great place for a working
breakfast, anniversaries, birthdays, or even a holiday party the
Oasis Café offers a custom menu with great service that will ensure
your event is a success. We have a dedicated food and beverage
staff that will tend to every detail and ensure your needs are met

GOLF 4 KIDSSM
Every summer we welcome the future of golf out to the links for
instruction, etiquette training and tournaments. Each GOLF 4
KIDSSM clinic is composed of 4 sessions and a graduation scramble.
The junior golfers that participate are exposed to all aspects of
the golf course, are given instruction on the game and participate
in skill challenges to hone their abilities. GOLF 4 KIDSSM is an
affordable fun way to be introduced to a game that will give back
to you for a lifetime. This year’s program starts at just $49. The
program is open to all Junior Golfers ages 6–17.
GET GOLF READY
GET GOLF READY is an instructional program for adults who
are looking to start playing or for people interested in learning
more about a game they are already familiar with. The program
is designed to provide basic instruction on all aspects of the
game, provide information about golf etiquette and get golfers
comfortable coming to the golf course. In GET GOLF READY you will
learn everything from what a pitching wedge is, to how to book
a tee time. GET GOLF READY is composed of five one and a half
hour sessions. Four of those sessions are dedicated to instruction
and etiquette and the fifth is an on course playing experience.
GET GOLF READY also offers reunion events each month for the
participants to get together and play golf with their instructors
and continue their growth as golfers.

• No trail fee benefit: No trail fee at anytime.
• Unlimited Cart Rental: No fees to ride a golf cart.
Additional riders must pay.
• Cart Rental Discount: Receive a $2 discount each time you ride.
