All tournaments are sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association and as such, are
subject to OLA rules and regulations
All tournaments are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Both your entry fee and
registration form must be submitted prior to any confirmation being sent to your team.

TOURNAMENT RULES
•
All tournament games will be played at Stayner Memorial Arena, in Stayner, Ontario.
•
Each team must registered one hour prior to their first game by producing their O.L.A player
cards together with copies of all pertinent coaching certifications.
•
Each team will play a minimum of two games.
QUALIFIER GAMES
•
Teams will be allotted a 3-minute pre-game warm-up.
•
There will be three 15-minute periods of straight time.
•
A mandatory 2-minute break will be provided between all periods.
•
In the event of a tie there will be a 5-minute, sudden victory overtime period.
•
If the game remains tied after the 5-minute overtime the team with the lowest penalty
minutes from the entire tournament will be declared the winner.
•
All teams must be ready to play 30 minutes prior to their game time.
CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES
•
Teams will be allotted a 3-minute pre-game warm-up period.
•
There will be three 15-minute periods of straight time with the following exception:
o If there is a goal spread of 5 goals or less the last 3 minutes of the 3rd period will be
played stop time.
•
A mandatory 2-minute break will be provided between all periods.
•
In the event of a tie 10-minute, sudden victory overtime periods will be played until a goal is
scored with the teams switching ends each period.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS
From Highway 400
-
HWY 400 to Dunlop Street West/HWY 90 West
West on HWY 90 to County Road 10 towards Wasaga Beach (turn right at the lights just
passed No Frills in Angus)
County Road10 to HWY 26 (turn left at Sunnidale Corners)
HWY 26 to HWY 26 (turn right at Tim Horton’s in Stayner)
HWY 26 to North Street (turn left just after Medical Center – if you pass the Ford dealership
you have gone too far)
Continue on North Street (which turns into Regina Street) until you see the arena on your
right.
