LMS 2015-16 GENERIC SUPPLY LIST Incoming Seventh Grade Students The following list represents the majority of supplies needed for the school year. The team teachers have planned instructional activities, which will be enhanced through purchase of the items below. Organization of school materials is one of the primary skills that students should learn while at LMS. Throughout the year, materials will need to be replenished and teacher requests for new materials may be made. General Supplies (these items will be used in all classes) • combination lock • three inch, three-ring binder with divider pockets (1) • wide-lined, white, loose leaf paper, (3 hole punched), 200 pages (min.) • zippered pencil pouch that fits into the binder • #2 pencils with erasers (sharpened) (2 pkg.) • package of colored pencils (sharpened) • blue or black ink pens (4) • assorted highlighter markers • transparent tape with dispenser • ruler: metric and standard English (fits in binder) • colored markers • glue sticks (2) • scissors (1 pair) • white out (optional) Math • • • • dry erase Expo markers basic calculator with square root function package of red pens package of 3x5 index cards Social Studies • 1 to 1 ½ “ three-ring binder • 8 tab dividers (preferably with pockets) Physical Education • white t-shirt and blue shorts Science • composition notebook (not a spiral) The following items are a donation to the classroom and for general use throughout the year. • Germ-X hand sanitizer • disinfecting wipes • large boxes of facial tissues for use during the year (4) After team assignments are made, a short additional team supply list will be given to students during the first day of school.
