Each participant will have the opportunity to practice gestures of Laparoscopic Surgery on a pelvic
trainer so as to be better acquainted with energy devices.
Course Objectives :
• Improve knowledge on indications of Laparoscopic Surgery and its practical application.
• Raise awareness of specificities of Laparoscopic Surgery.
• Improve knowledge of Laparoscopic equipment, new technologies and how to use them with
special focus on energy sources and energy devices.
• Knowledge of minimizing Laparoscopic complications.
• Knowledge of Laparoscopic Pre-Operative preparation.
Course Description :
This interactive course will provide surgeons with essential theoretical knowledge and practical
experience of basic level Laparoscopic Surgery. The course will take you from a complete beginner
in Laparoscopic Surgery to someone who is able to master hand-eye coordination laparoscopically, as
well as understand some of the key procedures in Laparoscopic Surgery. This comprehensive one
day introductory workshop focuses on the basic skills required for safe laparascopic surgical practice.
The training uses real Laparoscopic equipment and Laparoscopic trainer boxes.
