We would first like to thank you for considering becoming a Volunteer Administrative Team Leader (ATL) and for your willingness to serve. This role is critical to the Volunteer Operations Team because it provides the administrative infrastructure needed to efficiently run Volunteer Operations. ATLs in 2014 assisted in registering over 800 volunteers and provided monitoring and oversight for 320 volunteers who actually served. ATLs work prior to conference in becoming familiar with the NBMBAA Volunteer Operation Model, in preparation to lead the volunteer service team. The roles and responsibilities are further detailed in this guide. Being an ATL affords you the opportunity to be a part of the conference experience. This opportunity allows you to share your skills and talents; and simply just lend a hand, while being exposed to working a major conference. It is also a great networking opportunity and an affordable way to be a part of the National Black MBA Association, Inc.’s Annual Conference, which attracts yearly over 10,000 participants that includes businesses, corporations, and organizations. Whatever your reason is to volunteer, we need your time, talent, and commitment to serve as a ATL for the 2015 conference. Additionally, for your service as a ATL you will receive a full complimentary conference registration for next year’s conference, a 2015, 1-Day Career Fair Pass, meals (breakfast & lunch), a complimentary hotel room for the week, and a parking voucher at a lot selected by the National Black MBA Association. Central Florida Chapter will be hosting a Volunteer Administrative Team Lead recruitment meeting on Saturday, April 4, 2015, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
