KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF SENIORS ASSETS Campaign The government is floating the idea to include assets when assessing seniors for nursing care facilities, special care homes, nursing home services and home care. The Coalition for Seniors’ advocated for the removal of assets in 2004. This came to reality when the government announced on October 3rd, 2006 that assets would no longer be calculated for nursing care facilities or for home care. Send a message to the government objecting to any plans to change fees for seniors.
