Helpful Notes for people attending NCCL’s Annual Conference and Exposition Before the Conference: • Double-check your registration: Did you sign up for the free publishersponsored meals / reception? 1. Tuesday Sadlier Event (dinner & entertainment) • You do not need a special invitation to attend, but you do need a ticket. • Open to all conference attendees, including registered spouses. • No high-pressure to buy; just good food enjoyed together. Full-conference attendees: The Awards Luncheon is included in your registration if you reserved a ticket. • Join us in congratulating the award winners. Distinguished Service Award recipient remains a secret until the luncheon. • Did you sign up for the tour? (additional fee) Sunday – USA Niagara Falls • Meet in the Hyatt lobby at 9:00 am. If you want to add any of these events, please go to your membership record on www.nccl.org, click Events, add your selections and save. If you are not a member, email the NCCL office. • Are you driving to the conference? Nearby parking lots and ramps start at $7.00 a day • Do you know what province you belong to? Provinces are named after the Archdiocese within the Province. Hotel Check out time: noon • Check out early to avoid the crowds • Hotel will hold your luggage until you leave About NCCL: • The National Conference for Catechetical Leadership grew out of the early Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) movement in this country, with roots going back to 1934. It is dedicated to bringing the teaching ministry of Jesus to every Catholic. • NCCL’s members represent the full spectrum of catechetical leadership: bishops, pastors, diocesan and parish catechetical leaders, academics, authors and publishers of catechetical materials, other Catholic leaders. • NCCL is the only independent national organization exclusively dedicated to serving the church's catechetical mission in the United States grounded in evangelization.
