Planet Smoothie University (PSU) effectively prepares franchise owners
and managers to run Planet Smoothie’s simple operating system. Initial

the store readiness program where we come on site to help you open

Franchise Program Information
Planet Smoothie is expanding rapidly but prime territories are still available. We are offering:
• Single unit franchises
(full service, express/kiosk, and Tasti D-Lite co-brand)
• Multi-unit franchises
• Area development
A full service franchise is typically 750 – 1,000 square feet and involves an initial investment that can range from
$244,000 to $423,260 including complete build out, equipment, furnishings, initial inventories, franchise fee and
a provision for initial operating costs. The franchise fee for a full-service franchise is $30,000, which is included
in the initial investment. (For multi unit franchisees, the franchise fee is reduced to $25,000 for the 2nd unit and
$20,000 for the 3rd unit and beyond.)
Express and kiosk franchises can be as small as 200 square feet and involve an initial investment that can range
from $91,200 to $231,650 including complete build out, equipment, furnishings, initial inventories, franchise fee
and a provision for initial operating costs. The franchise fee for an express or kiosk franchise is $20,000, which
is included in the initial investment.
The Area Developer franchise is a larger scale development and management opportunity that involves opening
and franchising large numbers of stores throughout an exclusive territory that can vary in size from a collection
of counties up to an entire state. Qualified entrepreneurs, investment groups and companies are requested to
