Terms and Conditions 1. You, ‘your’ or ‘I’ refers to the customer. ‘We’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refers to New Zealand German Business Association. This ‘agreement’ means these and terms and conditions and any other conditions specified by us on our booking form. 2. Once this booking form is received by us, your booking is confirmed subject to availability. 3. Bookings are non-transferable and may not be sold or transferred by you. 4. Payment is required at the time of your booking – no seats will be reserved for you until payment is received. 5. Should you cancel this booking within 10 days of the event, we will endeavour to resell your seats prior to the event at the price booked by you. Should we be successful, you will receive a refund of the amount received by us up to the amount already paid by you. If we are unsuccessful, you will not receive a refund for the amount already paid and you will be liable for the full amount still owing. If we are able to resell the package but at a lower price, you will be liable for the difference between the lower price and the price booked by you. 6. Although we will endeavour to adhere to the publicised package contents, you accept that we and/or the event organisers have the right to alter elements of the event, including any advertised personal appearances, in our sole discretion. 7. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability of any nature for the acts, omissions or default of those providing services in connection with your event or any liability for any for any injury, damage, loss delay or additional expenses which are incurred at or in association with this event. Where legislation implies any condition or warranty which cannot be excluded or modified, that condition or warranty will be deemed to be included in this agreement. However, our liability for any breach of such condition or warranty will be limited, at our option, to the resupply of the services or the cost of having the services supplied again. In no event will we be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary or special damages. 8. You acknowledge that neither we nor the event organiser will be responsible for any loss or damage to property (including personal property such as bags, money or other personal items) brought to or purchased at the event by you or your invitees. 9. You will be liable for any loss or damage caused at the event by you, your directors, employees, agents, contractors or invitees. 10. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone an event for any reason, including if the event does not meet minimum attendance levels. If we cancel an event we will provide a full refund to you. 11. You must ensure that your invitees act in an orderly manner when attending the event and must not (and must ensure that your invitees do not) bring any food or beverage into the event area 12. We may refuse entry or evict you or any of your invitees if they are behaving in a drunken, disorderly or inappropriate manner. 13. Pursuant to your booking, we may need to collect and keep personal information about you including your name, address, credit card or payment details, telephone number and the names of your attendees and invitees. Unless you tell us otherwise, we may disclose your contact details to third parties so they can provide you with promotional material about other events. We may also need to disclose your personal information as required by law or as permitted under the Privacy Act.
