Summer Camps
About Coach Pehl
In his third season at Coppell High School, Head
Coach Kit Pehl continued the rich basketball tradition leading the Cowboys into the postseason for
the 18th time in the last 19 years and third consecutive area appearance.
With 16 years head coaching experience, Coach
Pehl knows camp is the essential building block for
his future basketball players and utilizes that successful model in Coppell. While keeping the game
fun, camp will encourage players by developing
their skills and also shows his players how to develop their own game outside camp.
Camp Breakdown
While each of the three camp options has an emphasis,
rest assured that individual development, team concepts, group competition, and fun will be common denominators in all camps. In fact, campers will be exposed to many of the same concepts that the Cowboy
Varsity team works on daily to give your camper the
competitive edge Coppell basketball players employ!
All basic fundamentals will be stressed every camp
along with variations of competition, however each
week there will be emphasis on a particular phase of
the game.
CAMP ONE
CHS basketball emphasizes competing on every
play with an aggressive style on both offense and
defense, a mentality that we believe helps carry you
successfully throughout life. Continued success is
expected not only next year, but in the near future
as well through the mental and physical development our basketball camps provide.
About the Camp Staff
The entire high school and middle school staffs
will be hard at work this summer, continuing to
cultivate the talents of future Coppell players.
Experienced head coaches from around the
Metroplex overseas professionals home for the
summer, and former Coppell players will round
out the best camp staff around!
Eligibility and Cost
Camps are offered to boys and girls entering the
1st grade and up to entering the 9th grade for the
2014-15 school year. Each week of camp costs
$150 to attend, which includes all of the listed

camp are offered at a discount price of $125. If
