2015 Summer Conference Wednesday June 10 – Friday June 12 Lighthouse Inn, West Dennis, MA Dear Public Works Colleague: After a particularly long and difficult winter, it’s finally time to think warm thoughts and make plans for the 2015 New England Chapter American Public Works Association’s Summer Conference on beautiful Cape Cod. THIS YEAR THE SUMMER CONFERENCE WILL RETURN TO THE LIGHTHOUSE INN! You are cordially invited to this three-day event that will bring together Public Works colleagues throughout New England and offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs), relevant discussions on topics such as pavement preservation and legislative issues, presentations from peers on rail trails, traffic and transportation concerns, and stormwater management and permit compliance, among others, and a number of other special activities and networking opportunities. A detailed agenda and schedule for the conference is enclosed along with an event calendar which lists all key times and activities. For more information go to http://newengland.apwa.net The Conference fees are as follows: $175 Full Conference Package for members; $195 Full Conference Package for non-members or daily rates of $95/day for members and $105/day for non-members. Registration may be done by mailing, faxing, or emailing the enclosed registration form with payment no later than May 27, 2015. Room reservations must be made directly with the Lighthouse Inn by completing the enclosed Reservation Request form and paying the appropriate deposit. Up until May 8, 2015, only the full package of Wednesday and Thursday evenings will be available for booking at the Lighthouse Inn. After May 8, room reservations for single nights will be open based upon availability. For those wishing to arrive early, reservations for Tuesday evening June 9, 2015 are available as a single night on the Reservation Request Form. Negotiated rates being held by the Lighthouse Inn for the Chapter will expire on May 15, 2015 and will be subject to change. The package includes two overnight hotel accommodations (based on single or double occupancy), the banquet dinner Wednesday evening, and dinner Thursday evening. Package rates include all taxes and services charges. Additional meals can be purchased using the enclosed Additional Meal Registration Form. Additional meal reservations will not be available during the conference, please plan accordingly.
