Celebrate Mother’s Day at Conrad Hong Kong
HONG KONG, China – 9 April, 2015 – Conrad Hong Kong invites its guests to honour all mothers and
mothers-to-be on 9 and 10 May 2015 with a host of satisfying activities including themed buffet options and
celebrated menus. In addition, a time-honored way to celebrate the day is to send our dearest moms a rose
and guests can leave this to the hotel’s good hands on 10 May.
Garden Café presents a range of delectable International and Southeast Asian favorites where guests can
bath in natural daylight both indoor and outdoor. Chinese Egg Pudding with nourishing bird’s nest prepared
by the chef team at Garden Café delights the dining experience for every mother during the seafood dinner
buffet. The luscious Carving Lunch Buffet and the relaxing afternoon tea buffet accompanied by live music
entertainment are available at Lobby Lounge. Level 8’s popular Sunday Brunch features succulent roasts,
pan-seared foie-gras, freshly flown-in seafood on ice, ocean-fresh sashimi and sushi, al dente Italian pastas,
assorted dessert creations as well as your choice of Chef’s recommended main courses. While everyone
drinks till drop with the free-flow Perrier-Jouët Champagne, a special caviar dish will be presented for every
mother making the celebration even merrier.
Michelin-starred Chef So Kai Chiu has also devised an authentic Cantonese 4-course lunch or 5-course
dinner set menu featuring his award-winning and personal favorite dishes. The highlights of the menus
include steamed fresh crab claw with Chinese rice wine and ginger and baked crabmeat with onion stuffed
in crab shell. A 5-course and a 4-course dinner set menus will be served at Nicholini’s and Brasserie on the
Eighth respectively.
In celebration of this special day, Conrad Hong Kong’s Pastry Chef Billy Yuen has specially created a Ruby
Peach & Lavender Cream Gateau with peaches from France and lavender from Japan for a refreshing and
delicate flavor. Priced at HK$320, the mother’s day cake is available at Cake Shop.
