NEXIAR® is an Italian design company that provides services in architecture and engineering in Italy and around the world. It was founded following
an accurate selection of Italian design companies and consultants with
over 15 years of experience in specific design disciplines.
The Design Company is composed by the aggregation of 8 engineering,
architecture and consultant firms, coordinated by a management structure
that ensures time, cost and quality level as required by the customer; any
company has a proven relevant track, built up during many years of activity, from the concept design’s stage to the closing phase as well as to the
turnkey.

COMPANY PROFILE
From the earliest stages of the project NEXIAR ® starts and manages a
process of comparison and compilation of ideas by combining contributions from each of its design departments who work together to provide
the client with a complete and unique layout.
Any subsequent step of the design process represents a deeper investigation into the initial design issues. Each department has a complete and
in depth knowledge of the project, playing an active role for its continual
improvement.
Staff and project organization are the key to design quality and client satisfaction.

The inception of each project begins with a ‘kick-off’ meeting attended by all team leaders whom give their own contribution. After
the meeting, the appointed team leaders begin to design and develop the initial project ideas encountered during brainstorming.
All processes are managed by a structured approach as described
in the PMI’s PMBOK guide.
Our interaction model creates a strong synergy and spirit of cooperation in the earliest stages of the project which
enables a sharing and completeness of choices and ultimately an extremely accomplished product; the client also
has a full understanding of the choices made by the team and can clearly evaluate the investment.
NEXIAR® promotes the ‘culture of communication’. This key theme is translated into what we call Client Orientated
Communication.
We set up private Web facilities which enable the client to keep up with the progress of the project. We open a
personal email account which clients can use to contact the project leader directly and a personal website where
we regularly update the project to discuss in a conference call, and much more. NEXIAR® adopts a Quality Plan,
by which all the stages and processes are checked and verified.

NEXIAR® 's staff is comprised of more than 80 consultants divided into three main divisions:

Divisions are further divided into Departments that deal with specific issues related to the world of architecture-engineering-services, bringing together architects, engineers, geologists, technicians and several consultants.
NEXIAR® operates throughout Italy and internationally in direct opposition to low quality and standardized design.
The Company’s new and innovative approach, which integrates the contributions of all its many skilled partners,
embodies the historic tradition of great Italian design which has for centuries given rise to the creation of unique
and high quality architecture.
The turnover of the last three years of the departments involved in NEXIAR® has a value of 6million of Euros proyear.

ARCHITECTURAL DIVISION
ENGINEERING DIVISION
BUILDING DESIGN Department (BDD)
The BDD is responsible for the complete architectural design from
feasibility studies to detailed design and integration with the other
departments. Our skills and experience in both the public and private
sectors enable us to operate at any scale, designing buildings for all
uses from residential to retail, offices, tourism and leisure facilities of
unlimited size or complexity.
STRUCTURAL Department (STD)
STD has over 20 years experience in the design of important structures
both in terms of size and complexity. Our skills and design capabilities
are continuously improved and developed through the updating,
analysis and use of the most modern structural systems from around
the world which guarantee a high operational capacity in every area of
structural design.
INTERIOR DESIGN Department (IDD)
The IDD is responsible for the development of projects for residential,
retail and office uses and for restaurants, hotels and museums.
We pick up the ‘feel’ of the place, the aspirations and desires of our
clients and combine it all with a broad experience and profound
knowledge of materials and furniture.
INFRASTRUCTURE & URBAN PLANNING Department (IUD)
The IUD has the task and the ability to design the general urban
plan, neighborhood plans, or historic preservation plans, including
all the services related to the distribution networks and infrastructure
transportation, from large areas to the nodes, such as roads and
ports. IUD guides the orderly development of settlements, urban
spaces, smart cities, towards strongest sustainable approach, as ideal
outcome of all planning targets.
LANDSCAPING Department (LD)
The LD has a broad range of experience in the field of landscape
design coupled with a heightened ability to perceive and understand
important aspects of the local environment. We are involved in
university research which contributes to the themes of the projects we
develop. Projects are designed to evolve over time starting from the
status quo and moving towards developments of high environmental
quality.
GARDEN DESIGN Department (GDD)
The creation of gardens or farms is an act of defiance, courage
and presumption, but most of all an act of humility towards nature
developed around a project, an idea or a vision. Excellent results
require a broad and profound knowledge of the natural environment
before tackling the project.
Awareness, passion, experience and creativity are the key forces
which guide the GDD in the design and implementation of a single
garden or a large park.

COASTAL & HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING Dep. (CHD)
CHD operates in the definition of hydraulic works in port, marine,
sea and river, in a view to an integrated design that offers support to
development projects with cost-effective and sustainable solutions.
Thirty years of experience of our hydraulic and coastal engineers and
planners specialist can provide added value to the development and
defence of the inhabited areas, including the use of sophisticated
software analysis tools and coastal hydraulics in full possession of
CHD.
MEP Department (MEPD)
MEPD gives your project the most modern and energy efficient
technology available.
We constantly update our experience of new technologies and study
energy issues and systems applied to different sectors of construction
and engineering.
DEPARTMENT
CROSS FUNCTIONAL DIVISION
GEOLOGY Department (GED)
The GED uses high standard equipment and has many years of
national and international experience in the field. We are able to
support all phases of the Design & Build department in the creation of
design solutions that are compatible, cost-effective and in-line with the
client’s objectives.
MOCK UP Department (MUD)
From a proven long track record in the creation of architectural and
urban scale models. NEXIAR® is able to produce models of any
mterial, size and scale to the needs of private developers and public
administrations. From a single building to the construction of large
territorial and Urban scale model.
COMUNICATION & EVENTS Department (CED)
Looking at a Real Estate increasingly complex and varied, the
commercial proposition of building, architectural and urban
transformation requires to be supported with a proper communication
to create market and social conditions suitable to accommodate new
ways of understanding common life, urban spaces , smart cities, and
new findings to guide clients and users, of private and public sector,
towards a more sustainable approach in the building industry and
urban landscaping.
BIM Department
Following the specifications of world’a contemporary design approach,
NEXIAR® develops its projects with Autodesk REVIT BIM technology
including, in his informatic 9D model: size, cost, time, energy
efficiency, life cycle, structures, MEP and a unique interface for Facility
Management.
NEXIAR® is able to provide this service also in support of other design
company.
SUPPLIER CONSULTANCY Service (SPD)
A deep knowledge of the Italian market for excellence suppliers allows
NEXIAR® to help our clients in choosing the best solutions to realize
their projects in the world with the best items in the market.
L.E.E.D. Consultancy Dep.
In order to satisfy the needs of contemporary design and construction,
the Architecture division and the Engineering division are backed up
by a large number of consultants who address the issues of design as
indicated by LEED.
SURVEY (SUD)
The survey department roles (SUD) has to aquire huge quantity of
data to be applied for several activities of the construction industry
sector. The data acquisition has guarantee by the use of the newest
technologies such laser scanner for 3d survey applied on drone.
The data are used also for scientific aims, due to the 3virtual D
reconstruction of the buildings.
NEXIARs’ processes are managed by a PMP® credential holder (no. 1602234) on the strength of
PMI® standards and ISO 21500.
