Show Fees:
Outdoor space for 10ʼ x 10ʼ tent = $130 ($110 members)
Indoor space of approx. 9ʼ X 9ʼ = $160 ($140 members)
Outdoor artists must provide their own tents, display screens, easels, and furniture, etc. for their spaces.
Indoor spaces will have rear/side walls/display screen or windows of the building, one table and one chair.
PayPal is the Niagara Pumphouse’s credit card system that can be used for payments by purchasers at the show.
The charge to the artists is 7% of the total price of the sale. The artists must fill in the request form for this service
with the receptionist before the start of the two-day show.

Show Details:
Art displayed must be original fine art, fine crafts or fine photography that are creative. 20% of your display may
be high quality reproductions (e.g. giclees, cards) of your original artwork, or partly manufactured items (e.g.
chains for handmade original art pendants.)
Indoor spaces, more suitable for crafts such as fine glass, will be filled on first-come basis. Outdoor artists must
provide their own tents, display screens, easels, and furniture, etc. for their spaces. Indoor spaces are limited.
Indoor spaces will have rear/side walls/display screen or windows of the building, one table and one chair.
Overnight storage of the artwork inside the Pumphouse is available on first-come basis.
Artists must stay open from 10 to 5 on both days of the show. Admission to the show is free to the public.
Niagara Pumphouse will provide free bottles of cold water and morning coffee and light refreshments to the
participating artists on both days. Please bring your lunches.
Each artist accepted to the show will be asked to donate a small art item (minimum $25 retail value) for the
fundraising “Draws”. The Pumphouse operates from revenues from its activities only, and therefore appreciates
your generous donation. Thank you.
More information of the show including set-up times and where to park will be provided closer to the event.

Waiver of Liability by the artist:
As participant in Art by the Lighthouse show, I expressly acknowledge and agree that The Niagara Pumphouse
Visual Art Centre and The Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, or anyone associated with them, shall not be liable
for any claims or damages arising from personal injury sustained, nor any loss or theft of personal property,
however caused, including negligence. I also agree to release my name and/or images for use in current or
future publicity of the Art by the Lighthouse show. I have also read the two-page application and agree to
abide by the rules and requirements herein.

Visual Art Centre’. New applicants must include their 3 images and brief biography for the jury panel. The
cheque for the show fee will not be cashed until you are accepted into the show and may be postdated to
