INTRODUCTION
CIPET is an ISO 9001:2008 QMS, NABL, ISO/IEC 17020 accredited premier national Institution
devoted to Academic, Technology Support & Research (ATR) activities for the growth of
Polymer & allied industries in the country. CIPET operates on hub & spokes model with 23
locations spread across the length & breadth of the country. CIPET has 16 centres at
Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad,
Hajipur, Haldia, Imphal, Jaipur, Kochi, Lucknow, Mysore and Panipat. All the C IPET centres
have state of art infrastructural facilities in the areas of Design, CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling &
Mould Manufacturing, Plastics processing, Testing and Quality control to cater to the needs of
Polymer & allied industries in the country.
To upgrade the skill & technical competency of personnel employed in plastics industry, CIPET
offers a wide range of short-duration, skill-cum-technology up-gradation Programs at all
centers. The academic atmosphere in CIPET is a rare blend of modern day technical skills with
a traditional emphasis on imparting technical knowledge. The highly trained and motivated
team of faculty at CIPET has achieved enviable excellence in manpower development.
In this regard, Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) – Hyderabad,
organized numbers of courses to exaltation the skill and technical ability of unemployed youth
especially sponsored by National Institute for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (ni-msme)
phase to phase at different time at different places. As per the direction of ni-msme to organize
the Talent Mela, CIPET has organized a Talent Mela on 08 th May, 2015 at CIPET Campus,
Cherlapally, Hyderabad.

Brief report about the outcome of the Talent Mela
The Talent Mela inaugurated by Mr. V Kiran Kumar, Chief Manager (Project) & Head on 08 th
May, 2015. After Inauguration, companies brief about their work function and requirements
one by one. Afterward briefing of companies, 90 participants participated in Talent Mela out
of approximately 120 who attended.
• 04 companies participated and conducted the interview for the potential candidates.
• The Participating Companies were:




M/s Aries Plastics, Hyderabad.
M/s Sri Saai Polymers, Hyderabad.
M/s Pure Air, Hyderabad.
M/s Malathi Polymers, Hyderabad.
• Approximately 35 numbers of candidates were selected out of 90 participants.
• The participants were mixed group in terms of the age and qualification, interestingly, huge
numbers of youthsturned up for the response.
• Drop box for resume/bio-date was
kept for the participants who were unable to attend the
Talent Mela on 08 May 2015. The collected applications to be taken into consideration for
placement.

• Feedback from both the recruiters and participants are found to be satisfactory V/s
attendance of the participants and sense of enthusiasm prevailedamong the youth segment.
