Any staff member found in possession of, or using substances, will be asked to leave immediately. ______ There will be no smoking on the camp grounds by anyone. This policy will be strictly enforced. If adult smoking allowed at camp, there will be no smoking in front of the campers and only in designated areas and times. ______ No profanities of any kind should be used by any staff members. This includes telling campers to shut-up. ______ Staff members are reminded to ensure that campers are properly supervised at all times. ______ Staff members are not to deal with campers or one another in a degrading or abusive manner. ______ Staff members are required to be at all activities and take part in them as well. ______ There are to be no boys in the girls’ room and no girls in the boys’ rooms. This includes both staff and campers. There will be no open displays of affection at camp. All staff free time will be on a rotating basis and at no time will the campers be left without staff supervision. You are expected to work a 24-hour day, 7 days a week while camp is in session. DESCRIPTION An Orthodox Christian in good standing. If a camper chooses to identify himself or herself as a participant of Camp Good Shepherd on such Internet venues, some readers of such web sites or blogs may view the camper as a representative or spokesperson of Camp Good Shepherd. In light of this possibility, Camp Good Shepherd requires that campers observe the following guidelines when referring to Camp Good Shepherd, it’s programs or activities, its campers and/or staff, in a blog or on a web site: 1. Staff must be respectful in all internet postings (text, photos, video) and blogs related to, or referencing the camp, its facilitators, and other campers. Any messages, photos, or videos that are linked or “tagged” from “friends” and attached to your site(s) or profile(s) that are inappropriate should also be removed. 2. Staff must not use obscenities, profanity, or vulgar language. 3. Staff must not use blogs or personal web sites to disparage Camp Good Shepherd or any of its staff or camper participants. 4. Staff must not use blogs or personal web sites to harass, bully, or intimidate other campers or staff of Camp Good Shepherd.
