June 13th, 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the introduction of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act
(AODA). In recognition and acknowledgement of this anniversary, AMCTO with the support of the Government of
Ontario will host nine (9) day-long celebration events across the province. Planning for these events, including the
targeting of keynote speakers, entertainment and utilizing local community input is helping to ensure we offer a great
day for those interested in accessibility across Ontario. These one-day events will highlight some municipal success
stories, celebrate community champions / mentors, and will seek to educate and inspire the accessibility community.
