I am pleased to invite Northern Minerals’ shareholders to a briefing in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney,
Melbourne and Adelaide during May 2015.
Since our shareholder briefings in October, the Company has achieved a number of significant
milestones including completion of the Browns Range Project’s Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS),
increase in Mineral Resource and Reserve and announced a major $49.5M* funding partnership
with Jien Mining.
The DFS has delivered a number of improvements in the economics from the Pre-feasibility
Study in June 2014 such as an increase in Net Present Value to $552M, extended life of mine to
11 years and a 6% decrease in operating costs. These positive outcomes offset the slight
increase in the Project’s pre-production capital cost and reset of production timeline.
The announcement of the $49.5M* funding partnership with Jien Mining is an important step
forward in the Project’s funding strategy. With $5M received to date and due diligence nearing
completion the Company is looking forward to working with Jien Mining and leveraging its
financial strength, and mining experience to progress the Browns Range Project to construction.
